"Meskiukas" stands as a beacon of hope and support for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Established on 21 April 2008, by Egle Dovbyšiene, a finance specialist and banker, our organisation is committed to empowering these young individuals by providing financial assistance and educational opportunities to help them realise their fullest potential.
Our Mission
Nurturing Young Minds, Inspiring Big Dreams
The foundation’s mission is to foster curiosity, educate, and promote financial literacy among children. It aims to equip the younger generation with the skills to manage their financial future through lessons in entrepreneurship, money management, and finance.
Financial literacy skills are crucial for the future success of our children in both their personal and professional lives. However, many schools across the country do not include these essential skills in their curricula. Recognising this gap, "Meskiukas" seeks to integrate financial education into the learning experiences of children, preparing them for a financially responsible adulthood.

Support for Education and Displaced Children
We have actively supported the VšĮ "Charkivo mokykla Gravitacija", a school for children who fled from the war in Ukraine, providing them with a stable learning environment.
Creative and Therapeutic Support
In collaboration with the Support and Charity Fund "Mamų Unija," we contributed to therapeutic and creative sessions for children battling cancer and their parents, held at hospitals.
Educational Programs for Ukrainian Children
We supported the VšĮ "Junior Achievement" education program, specifically designed for Ukrainian children to help them continue their education and personal development amidst crises.
Artistic Endeavors for a Cause
We played a part in organizing a unique vector painting exhibition by VšĮ "Angelų sodai" aimed at supporting Ukrainian children.
Community and Educational Events
We helped organize the VšĮ "Atsigręžk į vaikus" back-to-school festival, a significant event to celebrate educational continuity and community.
Holiday Cheer in Crisis Situations
We organized a visit from Santa Claus and distributed gifts to over 60 children at the Vilnius City Crisis Center, bringing joy during the festive season.
